Any comment on MINE - Nasdaq BB? Release by month-end. Supposedly 172M ozs of Bolivian gold. Broke out recently. Perhaps better placed on the Golden Eagle International thread.

Mr. Pink. Interesting thread with quite a few characters posting. Knowing that you place a great deal of emphasis on managements capabilites to turn around ailing enterprises, I would appreciate your opinions on Leonard Green's chances for success with the Hechinger/Builders Square combo. Green Associates Limited partners have had great success in the past according to the popular press. A recent Washington Post story was upbeat on their progress in the first 4-5 months after buying out the shareholders of Hechinger. The new entity has a publically traded debenture(HECHH). Because the new management borrowed to invest in inventory, the existing bonds took a downgrade probably because of a junior position in liquidation preference. The bonds are not in default and I hope that the April dividend will be paid. If payments continue in the next 2-3 years and if the enterprise proves viable an upgrade would be in the cards. With an upgrade I would expect a price in the 70s. HECHH is currently in high 30's. Seems like a favorable risk/reward scenario. Your insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Al Furlan( a real name).
