Well, the previous "brief shining moment" today became the "brief shining day", as Pd spot price closed $10 higher than that of AU ($318 vs. 308). And, according to SEDAR, PDL's annual results for 1996 were presented on April 28, 1997; thus, expect 1997 annual results to be released w/in next two weeks. Since their corporate year conforms to the calendar year, the next results will take us only as far as December 31, 1997. IMO, the more interesting period will be the first three months of the new year, with the new CEO and the much higher palladium prices. Still, it will be interesting to see if output during quarter 4 continued the increase of quarter 3, thus reflecting improved crusher operations.
