>>They (TPII) will get Y2K business; it is inevitable.<<

Sorry, Jake, but no, it's not inevitable. TPI has been offering itself as a Y2K company for six months plus now, and they have yet to announce a single Y2K contract. (And please do not say "Dofasco," as this is far from a Y2K contract...)

It may happen, but there is no inevitability that it will.

Regarding VERTEX 2000: Am I the only one here who remembers TPI's "First to Use and Market VERTEX 2000" press release? Fact is, TPI has yet to sign an agreement (exclusive, as TPI has stated, or otherwise) with BMR Software. (As a result, in what way has TPI either used or marketed VERTEX 2000 since issuing this press release? Anyone?)

And finally, an analysis of today's action: Those who bought last week at an ask in the low .30's saw TPII surge to a bid in the low to mid .40's and, realizing a very short-term gain of 40 to nearly 50%, immediately bailed!

Pretty good return on your money in a week's time...

regards,

JS
