Great article on Digital Certs - pg. 60 of March 23rd InformationWeek. Mentions a number of companies just recently starting to use CA's. Price range seems to be $25 to $148 per user with a Web-based certificate from Entrust (TradeWave's technology is Entrust-based) at the low end. There was a quote from Bruce Murphy of Coopers and Lybrand's IT Security Services about the need for dig certs. UPS, JP Morgan and a host of other companies have just initiated cert usage. The end of the article did state however that some of the companies did decide to run their certification business themselves. The trend, however, appears to be for companies to outsource that activity. Providers listed were GTE Cybertrust, IBM, and VeriSign - no mention of TradeWave.

Talked to Lisa today and didn't learn anything except that most companies hire consultants like Coopers to lead them through the entire security gamut. This is how we picked up the telecommunications company (still don't know who they are). Looks like a lot of our future sales will be made that way rather than those companies going directly to TradeWave.
She did mention there will be more press releases coming re additional resellers picking up the product. My impression from her comments indicates sales are going well - but she really didn't say anything one way or the other.
She also said our NT product has been tested and an article will be coming out - I think it was a UK based company. The results were very good - hope we see a domestic company run similar tests soon.
