QUANTUM <QNTM.O> TRADES AT 18 AFTER THE BELL, DOWN 2-1/2 FROM

More than an hour after the bell, Quantum stock resumed trading at 18, dealers said.

Other technology stocks traded near their settlement values after the regular session.

3Com Corp <COMS.O> traded at 34-7/8 after the bell, down from an unofficial settlement of 35-1/8 on the nasdaq exchange.

Shares of Intel Corp <INTC.O> were trading in line with their unofficial settlement of 75-3/32.

"Quantum is the big one tonight," one dealer said.

The New York Stock Exchange said session one trading volume was 888,800 shares. Session two trading volume was 1.60 million shares, the exchange said.
