Joe, I agree with your assessment of 3Com as a good long term buy. As I said, I am more of a trader, so I am short Coms(34 7/8) thinking that the quarter will be worse than expected. Will I be right? I don't know, that's part of the game we all play. I am looking at the tech sector in general, Qualcom warns, Rockwell warns of pricing pressure, CPQ also has inventory problems, INTC etc. I just can't imagine that Coms is doing that well as a general tech call. CSCO has also talked about slower revs going forward and their business in the short term being effected by Asia. If 3Com hits the 20's, which I doubt, I would then be a buyer, I have made money a number of times going long Coms since Jan. 1st. If I am wrong on the call, at least one of us will make money.......good luck! Vinman
