Thanks PartyTime! We need to ensure that the positive hype and FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) posting is kept in balance. I promised Aleta that I would cut down on what was perceived as positive hyping (I'm on the patch <GGG>). I am trying to support PartyTime with Q&A and facts.

This could also explain some of the positivity we've encountered. You see, longs will play on investors unfounded hopes. So long as those hopes are manifest, they can be manipulated. Touche', PartyTime. I fail to see the difference. Shorts MAY try to manipulate a stock and paint a picture that is gloomier than reality, because they would like somebody to sell them the stock (to cover) at a lower price. Personally, I don't do this. When I give my opinion on a stock, it's my true opinion. I would only be fooling myself to short a stock and then paint a picture that is gloomier than reality. (And I DIDN'T short ESVS - though I pointed out the potential to others - but that's moot - so what if I had? It's as legitimate as your long position, and I am being honest about my opinion. Ya know what would be dishonest? If I were here cheerleading the stock so that I could short it at a higher price. Nawww.... there's nobody here doing that!) Longs MAY try to manipulate a stock and paint a picture that is rosier than reality, because they would like somebody to buy their stock at a higher price. But you don't do this, right? ;)
