I read in a question/answer with Bobby Kotick this month that he has "never been more optimistic about our prospects" and "I think FY 99 is going to be another great year, with a substantial
slate of new releases." Out of context, it sounds like just some plain old PR, but in context, I have to believe he was being sincere.

P.S. I found out today that Bobby Kotick has 1.8 million shares in options/stock, so that his 20,000 share sale at the end of January, was not really significant.

I know that Alex Brown sent the analysis to ATVI today, but I don't know if they received any guidance from the company. But it really doesn't matter. I'd much rather have a strong 1st quarter than a blowout 4th quarter. And who knows? ATVI may still have a fantastic quarter with brisk sales of Battlezone and strong QuakeII reorders.
