John: everybody is so spooked about the REAL inflation that they're terrified to be out of the market. The feds aren't seeing what the guy in the street sees. TMA and RWT are still at book value and spitting out 8-10% dividends, like the market thinks interest rates are going to stay down forever and variable-rate mortgages will go the way of the dinosaurs. Something wrong with this picture.
