>>>Significiant Biller Announcement SOON-----"We anticipate ChechFree announcing a handful (4-6) new E-bill relationships over the over the upcoming weeks, which should include large (top 50)billers."

Yea....and they will probably be by companies who nobody ever heard of a.l.a. TSYS or IBS. Who send billings to 100's of Millions of Consumers on a monthly basis.

That's the problem with these backend service providers; whether it's paper or digital.....nobodies ever heard of them. But we've all heard of their corporate customers.

Big games going on here......on some of this stuff.........

Whereas MSFDC is counting on the Banks to sell this service to their Corporate Customers......even provides them a kicker, a commission for signing them up. So every one a 'bank' signs on goes to MSFDC....which more than likely is a loss to an already existing paper biller to their competition, FDC...in this first round.

CheckFree because of this, is forging relationships with the largest 'paper' billers to provide the same service to their existing paper bill customers.

So you have another different variation in the 2 models.....

I really doubt the big 'brand name' corporations we are all familiar with are going to turn much of their bill print, paper or digital, jobs over to Banks...under a service agreement where they pay more...so the Banks get their cut, commission, right arm, first born. When they can get the same damm service for less money from a biller they entrust billions of $$ in receivables to already.

Pete Might be right.....fatally flawed....in more ways then one.

This should be a very interesting Spring & Summer.....Because by the end of it....this could be trading at $10 or $100.

>>>"This should serve to allay investors concerns that MSFDC is somehow leading CKFR in the bill presentment race. Part of the delay is tied to CKFR's conservative policy of not announcing agreements until it is close to production mode versus at the letter of intent stage." (research dated 2/24/98)

Well Auggie you should know one thing by now....CheckFree don't release news on Fridays. So cross them all off for next month. That narrows it down a little.

Analaysts for sure to be sticking their heads in wanting to know what's up too before earnings.......expect them to say their piece too next month......but this one goes down in history as the 'Crafty Quarter'.
