Lachesis, thanks for the quick and thorough response. You made some great points. I forgot about the unreliability of realtime quotes. In my limited experience with online trading, I have noticed that the numbers can be way off. I guess it's just a glitch, unless they build unreliability into the system to keep guys like us from building a automatic trading gizmo. Nah... (On being a beta tester... when you build it, let me know. I wouldn't use your post in the ad copy, though.)

I really like Datek for trading. The quotes and the quickly updated portfolio are great features. From the reviews I've read and from checking out some other sites, Datek is a very good value. I hope they keep adding features while keeping the interface simple. Do you know what keeps Datek from offering stop orders on listed stocks? I'm sure it's been discussed before, but I'm a new guy.

Can orders be entered in decimal format? E-Trade cannot handle decimal orders and I am wondering if Datek can. Example .46

Thanks...JayMeister
