Heck how much lower can APM go? I would just hold onto the shares and take the tax loss as it comes. Its pretty useless to pay uncle sam on money already lost. I would think a lot of people woudl be selling looser stocks like APM to offset gains made elsewhere.
Like in the penny stock area..

Kashmir,

To be honest with you and FWIW its partially my job to watch the DDsector and I didn't see the acceleration to MR either. but it was inevitable someday and I guess I didn't relize how flat footed AMC was. Crissman is famous in the biz for his anti-social, hip shooting remarks. Kinda reminds me of QT Wiles remember him? In any case, I was fortunate to go to mostly cash a year ago and am trying to cautiously return to the market. But the DD sector, which is what I feel I know, has no encouraging words these days.

I've made a little paper money on CNU, a medical company with some interesting attention from Soros et al, and good money on BSC. Also was in and out on VECO with extraordinary good timing (for me that is). I am long on ZIGO, BSC, and CNU and still mostly cash. I missed Dell badly, kept watching it go up.
Best,
Stitch

Kashmir: I don't have any problems with Craig Crisman, I just think that he is up to his elbows in problems. From my conversation, I came away impressed with the man. He has no illusions about where APM stands in the industry (he provided some insights into RDRT's production problems), and is trying to incorporate the mistakes of others into their operations so that they can avoid them. He wants to position APM as THE low cost producer of MR technology, and is working on getting the product out the door PROFITABLY - it's still a long road to hoe - and he has no illusions. I can't help but think that he may also be positioning APM for a potential buyout - time will tell. He did mention that he has had some very uninformed investors, as well as Wall Streeters call him, and if you can't at least do a little research on your own before talking to him, I feel his disregard may be justified. APM still has a tough road ahead of it.
