No, I have my stockholders package and proxy stuff from the company and they ask us to vote for an option of 2-for-one or 3-for-1 or 1 1/2 for 1 split. (I think those were the options). Weird if you ask me.

Some other stock? Mis-posted?

Kafus Environmental Industries Ltd. (KS) on the Amex.

I voted for the proposed stock split as per the recommendation of the
Board of directors.

So believe it or not, it was on the ballot.

Why?

" Subdivision of Share Capital"

"At the meeting, the members will be asked to consider, and the directors recommend the shareholders approve, a special resolution, with or without amendment, altering the authorized share capital by subdividing each common share without par value, wether issued or unissued. Management of the company will attend to the alteration of the company's share capital, at the discretion of the board of directors, in order to best provide the company with suitable and sufficient authorized capital to offer the company increased flexibility in raising financing through equity capital"

I hope this information answers your questions.

I plan on holding (KS) for some time, it's looking better every day.
