Normally I key on the individual trades occurring at the bid or ask...usually you can adjust the columns on your quote screen to accommodate the information. If I see a pause as a stock is downticking then an inbetweener (2nd indicator to a direction change) I will then wait for buying as my last indicator (trades occurring at the ask) before entering the trade long. Exact opposite with tops and shorting. I do not rely on arrows but I see no problem to adjust to that type of indicator to spot trading. I really like MB Trading for quotes, news, level 2, charts...great service.
