I also tried to upgrade my X2 Sporster Voice modem, and got the same message. I called, and I was told that it's not available yet for this model (?!) I asked when, and was told "i dunno"

oh well, i guess i'll try next week

on a better note, coms looks nice today. hoping for a good report.
