Hello everyone, I'm new to the thread, but have enjoyed catching up on my PYT reading

Here's an interesting note from NETWIRE
(the last half includes the news release dated march 23, so if you have read it, skip it)

The end of this month marks year-end for most Vancouver brokerages.
Debits must be cleared, shorts often brought in line, it often spells
volatile times for many actively trading stocks. This is a time of
year that historically yields dramatic dips and bargain opportunities
if you're alert, as they generally correct quickly once through the
year-end cycle. There are two stocks we currently remain extremely
bullish on, Golden Thunder Resources (GTH-VSE) and Pyng Technologies
(PYT-VSE) both of which warrant close observation through the year-end
cycle.

=======================================================
GOLDEN THUNDER RESOURCES LTD. (GTH-VSE)
52 Wk High: $0.85 52 Wk Low: $0.15 Recent Price: $0.41
"In the Heart of Mexico's Sierra Madre Gold Rush"
Shares Outstanding: 3.24 million

The Company's initial work program is currently underway. We're told
we could have an update from the property as early as Wednesday of
this week. GTH should and will be trading at higher prices shortly,
in our opinion. We'll keep you posted.

=======================================================
PYNG TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (PYT-VSE)
52 Wk High: $6.70 52 Wk Low: $1.05 Recent Price: $4.40
"Your Medical Investment Today and Tomorrow"
Shares Outstanding: 7.6 million
=======================================================

PYT has shown classic signs of a year-end dip, trading far lower than
we ever expected to see after the recent run up. A large portion of
PYT's float changed hands in the mid $5 range which is where we feel
the stock's base should be. There has been a lot of speculative
trading in PYT's market as of late which has resulted in an increased
short position. We expect to see this short position to begin to
cover as we move through the year-end cycle. Signs of this were
perhaps evident today as the stock closed up strongly after a morning
dip. Investors who have down their homework should see great
opportunity in PYT's market over the next week.

The following news release was issued by Pyng earlier today:

March 23rd, 1998 NEWS RELEASE

New field trial sites to be added

Mr Michael Jacobs reports
Pyng Medical Corp, as a direct result of the company's presence at the
National Emergency Medical Conference in Baltimore, has received 22
direct requests to be considered for either a field trial location or
to be an early adopter on the FAST 1 System for Adult Intraosseous
Infusion. These requests were received from hospitals as well as EMS
services.

These sites, which represent wide coverage in the US, will expand
pre-market penetration for the FAST 1 System through field trials.
Pyng has selected field trials as a method of introducing the system
to the pre-hospital and emergency hospital market.

Pyng will evaluate each of these sites and, upon approval, will
deliver the required training, materials and product to the selected
sites for expanded field trial use. Medical data received from these
and other sites will be used for direct marketing purposes.

The system will be represented at the International Emergency Medical
Conference to be held in Vancouver in late March.

Dugman, you may be correct about Abbott Labs. I'll check with a friend there who would know if they are still the dominant I.V. bag company. You're right about their capabilities!

Lets keep learning and MAKE NO ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT PARTNERSHIPS. Just sharing some of my discovered information with everyone...

Two websites worth visiting for big company info on I.V. - ABBOTT and BAXTER MIGHT BE the two top suppliers of I.V. solutions - I haven't confirmed. Their big business related to I.V. is in the mixed solutions (dextrose & other fluids) as well as in drug injection systems. I do not know how the I.V. "administration kits" are treated by these companies - pricey or low cost? It seems to me they want the market share for the fluids that flow through the I.V. If I understand correctly, the administration kits are the plastic & stainless steel I.V. parts for establishing fluid systems to the body. I believe that the F.A.S.T.1 would be like an "administration kit".

Baxter Healthcare Corporation
baxter.com
Baxter Vein Access Products:
159.198.254.28

Abbott Laboratories
abbottrenalcare.com

Other companies that can help understand the marketplace:

Emergency Kit Provider - PSP, Inc
pacsafety.com

Related Equipment Provider - Haemotronic
haemotronic.com

I.V. Site Care products - ConMed Corporation
conmed.com

This is just a sample of whats out there. However, if you look through these sites, you will see the void of product that the F.A.S.T.1 fills!!!

I like that "the best is yet to come"
