Hello everyone, I'm new to the thread, but have enjoyed catching up on my PYT reading Here's an interesting note from NETWIRE (the last half includes the news release dated march 23, so if you have read it, skip it) The end of this month marks year-end for most Vancouver brokerages. Debits must be cleared, shorts often brought in line, it often spells volatile times for many actively trading stocks. This is a time of year that historically yields dramatic dips and bargain opportunities if you're alert, as they generally correct quickly once through the year-end cycle. There are two stocks we currently remain extremely bullish on, Golden Thunder Resources (GTH-VSE) and Pyng Technologies (PYT-VSE) both of which warrant close observation through the year-end cycle. ======================================================= GOLDEN THUNDER RESOURCES LTD. (GTH-VSE) 52 Wk High: $0.85 52 Wk Low: $0.15 Recent Price: $0.41 "In the Heart of Mexico's Sierra Madre Gold Rush" Shares Outstanding: 3.24 million ======================================================= March 23rd, 1998 The Company's initial work program is currently underway. We're told we could have an update from the property as early as Wednesday of this week. GTH should and will be trading at higher prices shortly, in our opinion. We'll keep you posted. ======================================================= PYNG TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (PYT-VSE) 52 Wk High: $6.70 52 Wk Low: $1.05 Recent Price: $4.40 "Your Medical Investment Today and Tomorrow" Shares Outstanding: 7.6 million ======================================================= PYT has shown classic signs of a year-end dip, trading far lower than we ever expected to see after the recent run up. A large portion of PYT's float changed hands in the mid $5 range which is where we feel the stock's base should be. There has been a lot of speculative trading in PYT's market as of late which has resulted in an increased short position. We expect to see this short position to begin to cover as we move through the year-end cycle. Signs of this were perhaps evident today as the stock closed up strongly after a morning dip. Investors who have down their homework should see great opportunity in PYT's market over the next week. The following news release was issued by Pyng earlier today: March 23rd, 1998 NEWS RELEASE New field trial sites to be added Mr Michael Jacobs reports Pyng Medical Corp, as a direct result of the company's presence at the National Emergency Medical Conference in Baltimore, has received 22 direct requests to be considered for either a field trial location or to be an early adopter on the FAST 1 System for Adult Intraosseous Infusion. These requests were received from hospitals as well as EMS services. These sites, which represent wide coverage in the US, will expand pre-market penetration for the FAST 1 System through field trials. Pyng has selected field trials as a method of introducing the system to the pre-hospital and emergency hospital market. Pyng will evaluate each of these sites and, upon approval, will deliver the required training, materials and product to the selected sites for expanded field trial use. Medical data received from these and other sites will be used for direct marketing purposes. The system will be represented at the International Emergency Medical Conference to be held in Vancouver in late March. -- courtesy of: NETWiRE! by Watkins ONLiNE!
