Excellent limerick, Thomas! I hope it may momentarily lighten up the joint or something.

I was a Brownie, and then a Girl Scout. I don't think the Girl Scouts have the same rules about God and homosexuals as the Boy Scouts, do they? I just don't remember having to be a Christian as part of the experience.

Scouting is really a great opportunity for children. It teaches them lots of practical skills, and the joys of camping. I still do not like camping much, but I liked the smores we made around the campfire quite a bit. I am just baffled at why an organization that is promoted in public schools is so exclusive.

Boy Graystone

or
Elwood Joel

Boy Graystone by Graystone

Boy Graystone ,my love, my joy
My shining sweet young golden boy
His Mothers face, his Fathers look
His sister knows him like a book.
"Joe" and little Graystonette
Play with "Honey", Graystone's pet

He can't sign two yet with his hand,
Up goes the the thumb, the pointer and,
the rest splay out ungainly still,
not in the, vale nor on the hill.
He uses left to to poke at right
wanting middle straight and tight.

I love Boy Graystone, he and I
We are family, we will cry.
More important to us both
Is his learning and his growth.
One chance I'll have to do it right
To show him good, to show him Light

So listen to me, I am where
You are here, and I am there
Clear the Glory, Fair his Face
I choose to teach him Love and Grace
I will not harm him, Boy Graystone
He is my child, my very own

Thank You for the image Mr. Simpson, I think hate comes from people's mouths don't you

Mr. Simpson on hate
