I think you do have something here! I called ATXI this afternoon, and spoke with VP/CFO Mr. Dean Gerber and of course he can not comment one way or the other. I did ask him that did he know 34,100 shares were bought on 3/19/98 , with a normal trading volume of 2000 and ask if this buy was tryed into possible merger news, he paused and again said that he could not comment either way. I asked him then, that FAMH had made an announcement on 3/12/98 about a merger with a nasdaq co. based in minnesota and one week later someone, out of the BLUE buys 34,100 shares of ATXI , exactly ONE WEEK after FAMH new release of merger(3/12/98). I then told him I bought 7000 shares this a.m. , and asked him if i would be happy with the buy later, and he faintly laughed , and said something to the effect that maybe/maybe not. Look at the matches: Float/ Outstanding shares/ a company not making mone/Based in minnesota/ Large buy of 34,100 one week after merger release./trades with low volume. Weren't all of these things mentioned in a conference call and subsequent new releases.(excluding the 34,100 share issue)
