I was directed to this link by a fellow SI investor and found it interesting. This paragraph in the article especially interested me and I hope this is where Softquad is currently at. Will this be the year?

When a
development-stage company introduces products and starts generating earnings, the initial price/
earnings ratios can look terribly high. Often the stock moves down as the story finally comes to fruition,
to the great dismay of all the faithful investors who have believed and held on through the tough times.
That can be the very best time to buy a development-stage company; much of the product development
or FDA approval risk is behind them, yet the price is lower than it was before products were approved
and sales were made.

>>Softquad earnings out Thursday

this kind of c-ap is never good. Never(.) Generally employed by 1) companies in trouble 2) penny stocks 3) canadian companies (v. NYSE, NASDAQ NMS) with no story and merely buying time because they [legally] can and wait until the last possible minute to announce...remember, SoftQuad is merely announcing Q4/FY '97 numbers ending 31 December, approximately eighty-two (82) days ago...
