when is QCOM going to pre-warn?

we need some bad news here so that the stock can start going up. CS, QNTM, PRIA, BAY .... all announced bad news all went up.

Gregg, regarding the Y2K issue, someone at the shareholders' meeting asked Dr J the question. If I remember correctly, he said QCOM had looked into it and found no problem.

qdog- Thanks for the info on Alcatel. It certainly looks like I might have missed some of the turnaround but that there may be more to go. The good news is that the wife who is a French Historian even likes the idea of buying a French company (despite my concerns). It seems like it has a lot of opportunities in a relatively open field.
