regarding Volpe, what if any thing have they done for fibr other than collect a fee???? i have heard nothing from them and have seen even less. is there a stealth research report out that only flies out of radar range????

This was a question on the conference call, and my interpretation of the answer was that as the stock had gone up to 6 since they were brought on, their job was done. In other words, they were paid for the use of their name in a press release, which brought some hype to the stock.

The fact that this hype was short-lived and the stock has now fallen 33% since the conference call was probably not anticipated.

Perhaps management and Volpe were more earnest than that, and they do in fact have some suggestions, but they're keeping us in the dark. I've also pointed out that if the company does divest some poorly performing (or low-margin) companies, that will make the revenue numbers look even worse.
