Thanks Colin....I have read your posts and feel you have been very helpful as well as informative. I have one more question and then I will drop it. My CPA insists that there there isn't any such thing as a individual trader who trades for himself...My CPA's definition is one who is registered with the SEC and trades for others. This concerns me regardless whether I qualify or not. The information I have seen on this web site and others is to the contrary.

What concrete information can I get to substantiate the validity of one who is a professional day trader for himself vs. an investor?
Thank you for any help that you may give.
