Lycos and Preview Travel Reach Multi-Million Dollar, Multi-Year
Exclusive Travel Distribution Deal

Lycos Users Will Have Access to Online Travel Content
and Reservations Service
Lycos, Inc., ''Your Personal Internet Guide,'' and Preview Travel, Inc., a leading online travel service, today announced a
$4.25 million electronic commerce agreement. The two-year agreement will provide Lycos users with the ability to plan and
book their travel online directly through Preview Travel. As part of the agreement, Preview Travel will become the exclusive
multi-service provider of travel reservations on Lycos' Travel Web Guide and Travel Network and will receive integrated
promotion throughout the Lycos site.

Lycos users will be able to access Preview Travel's wide array of resources via the Lycos Travel Web Guide, the Lycos
Shopping Network, banner advertisements and keyword searches within Lycos. Preview Travel's online booking capabilities
for air, hotel and car reservations will be available immediately, and additional services will be introduced in the future. These
travel resources include access to Preview Travel's vacation packages, business travel services, Farefinder(SM) and travel
newswire. Lycos will also feature Preview Travel's licensed and original content including detailed destination reviews from
Fodor's Travel Publications, Inc., along with photographs, video and sound clips, which give travel shoppers a chance to
preview exotic and interesting locales around the world.

The agreement with Preview Travel complements Lycos' existing travel services such as Road Maps and City Guide, which

provides travel resources through its proprietary search technology that spiders the entire World Wide Web based on user
defined keywords.
The agreement with Lycos complements Preview Travel's existing online distribution agreements. Preview Travel has
established one of the largest online travel audiences, with its sites currently receive more than 6 million visits monthly.
