Pat, thanx for your post; Yahoo had the news release this AM also. Telecom OEMs up today due to CSCO's announcement. Also ML will have a conference today and tomorrow on Telecom Cos at the Pierre hotel, New York. I sold NN again after my recent buy. Back in large cash position. I tend to play the market. This is window dressing week for mutuals and they have to put all their cash at work. They usually put it in the hotest big caps has been their modus operandi of late. My concern is next week, EPS begin. My concerns are that we know that Asia provides 1/3 of world GDP; and we know that impact of fall '97 Asian fall out won't be felt for another quarter which is Q1 '98. If earnings are poor and the market trips over the kitchen stool I don't know if individual stocks can swim up stream. So I put myself in a corner of the kitchen and I will watch the action to figure out nest steps. Pure guesswork as you can see, so take it for what it's worth, TA
