Hello, I haven't read any posts here lately and I don't have any of this stock as yet but I received this in my e-mail and thought I would pass it on. Good luck all
Late yesterday, AMERICAN ECO CORP (9-1/4 up 7/16 @ 9:45 a.m. ET)
said it has withdrawn the Letter of Intent of Feb. 20th, 1998, for
the acquisition of DOMINION BRIDGE CORP. (1-1/4 down 3/16 @ 9:45
a.m. ET) and has presently terminated negotiations for any further
transactions. American Eco stated that due to complexities of the
transaction and the time constraints for its completion, the
remaining proposed transactions cannot be consummated. Michael E.
McGinnis, Chairman, President and CEO of American Eco, stated, "We
will now resume discussions with other acquisition candidates that
had been put on hold during the negotiations with Dominion
Bridge." (Reuters 07:15 PM ET 03/23/98) For the full text story,
