mark,

im short xlnx and altr. wanted to short mu as well, but didn't have the necessary funds at the time. i have been posting on altr and xlnx trying nicely to warn others. yes, the altr upgrades have been VERY suspicious. i added to the short on march 6 th, i think it was. wanted to add more on fridays upgrade, but had enough already. that was blatant selling into the upgrade if i have ever seen it. i wouldnt short adi personally. granted, revs have been pretty flat, but the dsp business represents a big portion and has stable and high margins. what are your downside targets for altr, xlnx,mu and adi?

mark,

osx took a dive while i was typing some replies. i cant believe that index is so weak. i may close out another short and add to xlnx as they are the weaker of altr/xlnx at this point. a warning from one of the two would do wonders for me right now. networking and telco are their major customers and we have had a lot of warnings there. of course, those networkers go up on the news. this is a crazy market.
