You got this right. Because these 95% people are small guys, and the market is manipulated by big guys, who always knows something we don't until it is too late.

Could be that many believe that the news could have been a lot worse (such as a loss). Now that the downside has been contained it gives a reason to buy on the concept that for the short term the direction is up (at least until next quarter at this time).
