Enjoy the ride folks, but my guess is it might be a short one.

Check out some comments from a Pat Tenney report today:

"The disk drive business continues to be plagued by
over-supply and chronic aggressive pricing. We believe this
trend will continue throughout the first half of 1998.
TrendFocus estimates that disk drive manufacturing
capacity remains 35% to 50% too high relative to demand
and we estimate that HDD build plans for the year are
still 165-170 million (vs. our projections of 144 million )
.Quantum's HDD units are expected to be down
10% sequentially in the March quarter, but perhaps more
alarming is the price erosion that has taken place."

All this and we're seeing APM up 10% today!! Hmmm.
Buy on fundamentals today. Be careful of the rest.
