If you don't want to humor us why did you write in the first place? Surely we cannot digest unsubstantiated posts.

I hope you are right about IBM's dedication of their foundry business resources. I really have a solid suspicion that you are right, and that the C6, C6+ is going to sell many many more units than expected by most investors. I believe this because of all of the money that has flowed into IDTI recently and because INTC is the king of the hill that everyone is looking to knock down. I know next to nothing about the IC industry but do know enough to see that production now is constrained in key chips. That means the best chip wins, and that best chip is the C6+ because of cost to produce and operate and satisfactory relative performance.

Thanks for your informed posts. Don't let the way people on This thread question your posts, I think it is one of the more objective and questioning ones on SI and new ideas are often questioned. I hope you are right. Early indications are that the C6+ will be a real contender. Do you know how they are doing on merging the graphics standards with AMD and Cyrix/NSM?
