Zap Comix....

i had a serious collection...
i even made a collage for my
then boyfriend's birthday, which
i lovingly had (expensively) framed...

the central image was from life magazine
depicting the crowd at a free simon & garfunkel
concert...interspersed among the normal heathens
were assorted images from bosch's garden of delights ...

this celebration was then attended by mr. natural & others,
all of whom were then placed in perspective by the nyc skyline
and stones' 72 tour plane ( by milton glaser?) from their
poster....

waht had started out as a simple gift evolved into a huge
project, and my only regret is taht i never kept a reproduction.
but i remember zap comics very, very well.

would you believe

I have a very large collection of comic books?

I own (among other things) 6 mint copies of Felch Cumics, but that is a story for the Judge thread not this one.
