<This is my repost of last night to another thread. It's probably wishful thinking, but I hope that people stampede out of the market in force next year. I won't be shorting. Instead I'll be buying into the panic.>

I will be TOTALLY out of the market by mid-March '99 (if not sooner). Will have at least half my holdings sold, by or during, 4th quarter '98.

I won't be picking ANYTHING up in 1999. I'm gonna wait until the dust settles in late 2000 before I'm back in the market. Though it's against my nature, I'm going to be in the "protect my assets" mode.

Interesting, what do you think of cashing out of the market soon, to solidify profits, then jump back in during the panic, if there is one? Of course, you run the risk that a panic may never happen....
