Venkie, he's dreaming up new reasons for believing that Dell will tank. Maybe he should consider this possibility.

(I write this with tongue firmly implanted in cheek!)

Dell's sales are going to go through the roof. That means that there will be significant delays of up to two months for existing customers. And who are those customers going to go to? You guessed, the Chinese abacus makers! So, Dell will have ramped up production in response to demand it can't meet and given new life to its oldest and most potent nemesis. And now it will have all of those plants with no production! Well, maybe it could start stringing beads. And hey, who knows, slide rules could be making a comeback too.

[The devil made me write this!]

Regards,

Paul

We are over the old 130/share hurdle. Looks different when it is divided in two. $65 isn't as intimidating as those numbers with zeros in them. like $130/share.
Makes me glad I bought in late october at $78-82/share.
Recent purchases at 129 now don't look so foolish... they look dellish instead.
Go Dell... lets go for $70... (aka 140)

Poor Jim... You can't bet against DELL for the long term. Personally, I don't have the stomach to bet against it even in the short term. There's money to be made there, but not by me. I'd rather bet on the upside (doesn't require ANY thinking)!
