Bob, you're absolutely right about keeping quiet if that's what the customer wants. Anyone who thinks a vendor can dictate terms to a customer is out of his mind, no less a customer like INTC. These folks should get real, this stock is interesting because of the potential it has in '99 and '00. If that potential comes true then the stock will be much higher than it is now, the PR aspect is so secondary that its hardly worth mentioning.

Your policy of dictating rules to customers may apply if selling shoes but probably would not work with a quality, specialized product as Cymer is selling. Besides- where else could the customer go for the sophisticated product we have at CYMI ?

Re: Vendors that start setting the terms create resentment very quickly and start to lose customers. => A lot of computer makers have a sign that says "Intel Inside." Maybe when we are a recognized monopoly we can arrange for a sign that says "Made with Cymer laser." What do you think? char govar
