Dear Koo haters and optimists:

I have been posting up to recently on Yahoo, but have signed up (at least temporarily) with SI.

I belong to the wait and see contingent. No money on the table, no positions, just waiting to see what happens to the cash.

My open question (as I missed the CC)-- did they mention the smart card readers? Or any other new products they are making for OEMs? Or is this company's fortunes still tied to electronic organizers, calculators, and translators. I just have a hard time imagining lots of sales growth potential in this category, although I suppose TI and Casio could continue to farm out ever more of their low margin business to them. Still, it doesn't strike me as a product line that is going to grow rapidly.

Also, it would be very interesting if someone spent the time with "people find" or the like to chase down the erstwhile CFO and get his version of the story.
