Lance,
My enthusiasm may be tempered when i hear more details, but i like what i read in the news release. I urge you to read it again and allow yourself to dream. JNNE didn't buy this company for what it is; they bought it for the possibilities. I'll expand on my thoughts later. Work beckons.

Lance,

Look at what Pat Rost did for TSIS, a similar company.
Maybe information technology is the best place for JNNE to be verses a holding company or a shoe store.

Lance,
Here are the sentences in the press release that i zeroed in on:

"The systems now in operation can be readily adapted to a myriad of applications outside the university markets. Convention centers, shopping malls, amusement parks, sports arenas, airports, bus terminals, train stations and any public or community location is a natural fit for the Community Marquee system...........Taking this information system and combining computer telephony, interactive voice response and computerized database creation will generate a tremendous amount of added value for the advertisers"

Now i'll give you just the first bit of dreaming that popped into my head. I don't know if these audio visual information systems would be referred to as kiosks, but that's how i envision them. Now look at the colleges where they are in operation and the markets to which they can be easily adapted such as malls and airports. Now look at combining these systems with computer telephony. Now, Lance, how would you like to get in on the ground floor of the internet pay phone business? I'm just dreaming, and the company probably has something entirely different in mind; i just wanted to give you an idea of the possibilities that exist. I'll try to add some more thoughts later.

James

Lance, what do you make of this?

'''Jones Naughton has strong asset on its balance
sheet and limited liabilities and is poised to strike a
deal to acquire a new operating subsidiary. In the
near future, share-holders may be handsomely
rewarded when this event takes place because the
share price is depressed due to orchestrated
re-deployment activities to enhance shareholder
value by the company for over a year.'''

'orchestrated re-deployment activities'?

They already 'redeployed' some of my cash into a market makers account
with this excuse for a stock play.
