Hello Paul, I remember seeing your last post and meant to respond, got sidetracked and the post went off the screen. Your question makes me realize how little I understand about the various spinoffs and TBR subsidaries. From what I understand the wireless portions of the 26 TBR subsidaries have been spun off into 8 new companies already, and either already or will trade soon on the Brazilian exchanges. If I understand correctly this included the wireless divisions of Telesp and Telepar. I don't know that I'm even aware of what the names of the companies are, much less the areas they cover and whether or not they are A band or B band. Below I've posted a few bits either posted on this thread or that I received via email. I agree it's time to get some answers. Can anyone help clarify? sf =================================== I will keep my eyes and ears open , Wall St will decide who is worth more or less on split up obviously sao paulo/rio de janiero have huge waiting lists for cellular and land lines and a total population in of over 22,000,000!!! in the cities and about 40,000 million in the state of sao paulo, rio de janiero i am not sure, the state of sao paulo has more people than Argentina.
