Gary - speaking of Craig Crawford. Did you see April's Smart Money? Article titled "Hopelessly Devoted", is dedicated to tech investing and SI. Anyway, Craig is spotlighted (picture and all) for his bear positions and challenges to the bulls. You'd probably enjoy reading the article. I'd post a URL for it but it does not seem to be available online (at least within the Smart Money Interactive site).

Gary

If you don't know how to short this stock it's like playing with plutonium....a speck you cannot see can kill you!

Eric

P.S. As you know this is one not to short with so many other better short candidates out there!

<< Whatever happened to Craig Crawford and Lucretius >>

Right here lookin' over your shoulder. <g>

<< Everytime Cisco rallies like this I begin to wonder what happened to the shorts >>

Shorts are all cowering in the shadows of this magnificent rally. I didn't even have the heart to short COMS before their earnings yesterday even though I knew they would miss bad. I was even long COMS for a trade going into yesterday morning.

COMS misses their estimates by 80%+ and they will still probably go up. If COMS can rally in the face of a despicable performance then Cisco must be still cheap with their less than great but still respectable earnings.

I notice Cisco is out predicting that they will grow faster than the industry which is growing at 30-50%. After two quarters of mid-twenties growth they better start delivering on their promises.
