Well - it really wasn't the first interoperability agreement..

Last month - Motorola and Inter-Tel signed a MoU which will ensure that the gateways which both companies develop will have the ablity to interoperate with each other. Intertel is at -- inter-tel.com

But I guess it will probably be the first "working" one..

Everybody and their mother seems to be getting into this business..
I like OZemail a lot out of all of em - since they can probably
make more money on the calls over their network (initially) since anything
less than 4 bucks a minute is a bargain in Australia..

(& may I add -- all their web site stuff is pretty slick... :-)
I still think that the quality of a company's web site tells you
a bit about how they view quality in general..(& how much they
really know about the importance of having a good one - and what
actually constitutes "good"..)

Luckily - I dumped 95% of my FTEL around 4.5ish a few weeks ago for a 1.5-2 point gain over 8 months -- whoopie...(learned my lesson about putting in stop losses after big vol days on first drop after 450% gains) (those darn little
animated colored bullet balls on their home page made me do it - ha ha -- when they
get rid of those - they might stand a snowball's chance...)
(in addition to the impatience that people would probably show for immed.
revenues or more press releases.., the fact that I never received an invitation to the
shareholders meeting from the company (telling me how screwed up
their records must be..) Sparrow leaving...Frank selling his shares..& a few other tidbits...all adding up to problems...
Today's redundent news release was the straw that broke the camels's back & folks not admitting to reality on the thread (that shares had indeed been sold etc.)
Good tech - but they need to work on the marketing..
& alliances etc. I still don't believe that they have developed a simple advertising banner (much less animated) to conduct strategic marketing with around the Net (such as having one at "meta-ISP" review type sites.. or other sites that ISP's (or tgt. customers) typically frequent en masse)... gee - you'd think that they'd understand a bit more about the web...being in California - ha ha Frank is too focused on "making it"
alone I think..He needs to broaden his perspective.
