well....it seems tomorrow may be the day that CNBC does their 3 hour Dow 9000 thing... dont know if it has to close or just do intraday.

Don, I think a lot of the pop in oil prices yesterday was overdone due to short covering. That's just a guess, of course. The notion that the producers may cheat could have a role in moving the futures, but I'm not sure it is the primary factor (just the one being hyped by cnbc).

The SOX followed the NAZ up today, but faded first after failing to pierce 292 with any conviction. I think you said it looks weak. It sure does to me.
