I am not the least bit confused, jbal. You need to peel that onion down one more level. For purposes of TEAM, "manufacturing costs" will include charges from ETC for design, engineering, development, prototyping, production engineering, integration testing, documentation, production, production support, quality control, unit testing, process management, customer support, warranty support, lab services, overhead, and profit. These charges are in addition to the simple cost of manufacturing. As anyone familiar with electronics manufacturing would know, depending on the product and the volumes, these charges are often 100% to 400% of the basic cost of materials. No reasonable person would expect ETC to perform those services for free or at no margin. For commercial products which might fall under the IASCA license, we intend those services to be a substantial profit center for ITKG/ETC.

I'm not really interested in debating the p's and q's of ETC's contractual rights and obligations in a public forum with an anonymous party with dubious motives. If you are truly seeking information, then please call me at 1-888-666-8833, identify yourself, and I'll be happy to discuss this issue with you in detail.
