ralf, how are things in Germany. I was in your country last year and enjoyed my visit very much. In response to your questions:

I believe that once the CPQ deal is completed, Palmer will be gone within a few months. I hear that Bruce Claflin (VP of Marketing) may run DEC.

Palmer is still with DEC because the Board of Directors were "controlled" by him. If there was a strong and independent board, Palmer would have been gone a long time ago...IMO.

Hope I have answered your questions. DEC is a great company with great technology. I only hope that DEC does well under CPQ. What are the feelings in Germany and Europe in general as regards the CPQ buy-out?
