Sergio,

I'm not sure. Maybe they have filed and we just haven't seen the filing yet? They do indeed have to file once they become partial owners of the company.

Has anyone checked out Barington's web site (www.barington.com)? It's not very well done and the research reports are old. I'm a bit concerned as to the level of coverage Antex will get from them. The whole deal where they could get 25% of all outstanding shares for $3 million dollars stinks in my opinion. But I guess Antex management had no other choice at the time but to agree to those terms.

Long term, it really shouldn't matter what Barington does. Short term, I'm not so sure what will happen. I do know that we shouldn't be seeing bid/asks of 1.04x1.049. That we did and still saw 1x1.04 at close today is simply ridiculous and is a clear cut case of manipulation, IMHO.

What bothers me the most about this thing is that I could have bought and sold about 8 times now and about quadrupled the number of shares that I currently own. Of course, I'd owe the taxes on these paper gains, but in the end when Antex takes off it would have been worth it.

I'd like to see the annual report and Esposito letter to shareholders for 1997. Then I'd like to be able to just not look at the day to day fluctuations for the next 6 months, come back and find we're at 6 or 8 dollars a share <g> with another major alliance and therapeutic products in development.

It'd be nice to see a little more discussion on this board.

Regards,

Mark
