*** OFF TOPIC *** Dusty, It means "end of message." That way when you see (eom) on the first line of a post, you know you don't have to click on it to see if there is any more to it.

Here's "Chatter's Jargon Dictionary" site that might be helpful. But they don't list everything. I don't think it has (eom) on it.
