I don't know why Microsoft had this conference call. They are going to beat estimates this quarter. Their forward looking guidance reminds me of an old Monty Python skit: "We're not going to do as well this year. Yes you are. I came here for a profit warning. No you didn't. Oh, you wan't 3COM. They're down the hall."

They are trying to talk down the stock, but as people ask more questions, Greg M. continues to say that Microsoft rules. Then he says that growth will slow. Then he gives reasons why it won't.

As I'm listening here, another caller is asking why Greg felt the need to have a conference call.

Like I said in another post, the market will skyrocket tomorrow. Look out NASDAQ 2000.
