3Com really didn't need to pre-announce. They knew the street would focus on their inventory problems and I am sure that's all they wanted to focus on in the conference call today. Forget the fact their earnings were terrible and the pricing pressure in their modem business. .....as I said before, this market is a joke. Quantum warns(.0 vs. estimate of .25), with not a hint of a positive outlook, and entire disk drive sector moves up today. PRI Automation warns, again no positive outlook, yet semi equipment sector rallies....pure spam.... Vinman
