Anyone-Any good explanations (positive spins)?

Q3 vs. Q2
1. Gross margins down by 3.6 points (43%vs. 46.6%)
2. System sales down by 70MM or over 11% (presumably the margins are better on these products)
3. Inventory up by 170MM despite the cited "management" of the channel inventory.

But after BAY's recent stock action, who knows, maybe we will be bailed out by a miracle.
