I believe that Microsoft is being conservative by saying ONLY a 10% over estimates growth for the Q and also that Intel was being overly conservative in discussing their shortfall from expectations and from previous guidance.

Both will surprise positively, I believe.

Actually, it's bad news for Intel in that a 10% better than expected result for Microsoft means that Intels shortfalls are as easily blamed on a slowdown. Probably won't be taken as bad news for Intel though.
