traderdan,

On what does MSNBC base their outlook? Truthfully, I'm surprised that the stock is as high as it is now. There is speculation about a relationship with IBM at the end of this year relative to ATM's. There is also speculation about Microsoft having a substantial amount of interest in Teradata. There is also some internal wishful thinking about Sun picking up the computer unit. In my view, NCR has three assets ... the ATM business ... the scanner business ... and Teradata ... and NCR should be looked at from this perspective. Also, the revenue per employee figure is not in line with industry norms, and Lar's has no prior experience with a non-commoditic systems company. This is JMHO.

Watch the Q1 results very carefully.
