Your right, 3Coms numbers don't look that bad, they look terrible....if optimism voiced time after time in the past is any indicator, 3Com will continue to disappoint.

Analyst on CNBC just said 3Com earnings positive based on reduction in inventories, he said the street didn't care where their number came in....aren't companies in business to make money? What about their products, especially pricing pressure in modem business? This market is in denial...what a great time to be a CEO of a tech company, cashing in on options, and they don't even have to perform.

If insanity rules then you might be correct. I wouldn't call missing estimates by 86% as "not too bad". IMO regardless of the inventory mumbo jumbo, COMS price should not go up any further unless it proves itself in future quarters.
