rod and bob: is speculation ok as opposed to rumor? rod, in answer to your question i do not specifically know. However, i found ptsc's press release interesting from the perspective of the first application mentioned therein, namely, "Internet-enabled information kiosks". It kind of rolls right off the tongue doesn't. Not exactly the first java application that would come to mind. Now if you juxtapose that with the RUMOR beachcomber mentioned not long ago about some dvd kiosk thing, i might SPECULATE that just maybe there is something to it. Of course this could just be sheer coincidence, who knows. Let's just hope fact starts replacing rumor and speculation. I gotta believe the embedded java market is just heating up and if we could just get a small share of that market i think we would all be pretty happy! bob
